Carbondale Community School is thrilled to announce the successful completion of a transformative $1.65 million capital campaign aimed at making critical health and safety updates to the school and supporting our students' educational experiences.  We are so grateful for the incredible support for our school. CCS Exterior

We are excited to announce that CCS received a significant portion of this funding from the state of Colorado's BEST Grant program. A generous grant of 41% funding toward the budget supported crucial safety upgrades within our school environment. These improvements encompass essential include: 

  • Enhancements to our security systems; 

  • Updated fire safety infrastructure and; 

  • Installing a much-needed new roof. 

Additionally, we are excited to have allocated funds toward building a flexible learning space that fosters innovation and adaptability in our teaching.

The central focus of the upgrades are the health and safety of our students. We believe that a secure and nurturing environment is fundamental to effective learning, and these renovations contributed to a space where our students can thrive and grow.
