Board Meetings are generally held the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 9:00-12:00. Agendas are posted no later than 24 hours before each meeting, and are linked in the Board Meeting Calendar. The public is welcome to attend as observers. If you wish to address the Board, there is a time for public comment (limited to 3 minutes per speaker). Please see the agenda for when this occurs.
How to Address the Compass Board
The Compass Board welcomes the public to share their opinions during the Public Comment section of each meeting.
To speak during Public Comment, come to the meeting prior to the stated open forum time (on each agenda), and inform our Office Administrator, Adrian Bradley, of your desire to speak. You can reach out to Adrian in advance by email at email@example.com or 970.923.4646. In the interest of respecting the time of all who are present, speakers are to limit their remarks to five minutes or less. If community members are not able to attend a meeting themselves, they can have a representative speak on their behalf or read a letter.
Please know that while the Board greatly values all comments from the public, the Board will not respond during Public Comment, but rather will discuss as a possible future agenda item and follow up as needed. Please be aware that any personnel or individual student matters are considered confidential under Colorado Law.
If you have any questions regarding the Compass Board, please email Jeffie Butler, Board President, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
