Celebrate the Beat: Our students just finished 3 weeks of challenge and risk-taking through dance, which culminated in an incredible dance performance last Tuesday. The theme of this year’s dance was famous artists and the 5-6 dance celebrated the work of Picasso. First Week in the 5-6!
Happy Friday! The 5th and 6th graders had a productive first week back at school after outdoor ed. Students got back into routines in math, language arts, art, and music, as well as a science, social studies, and health rotation. 5th Grade Outdoor Ed Trip
We had a great trip up by Chapman Reservoir this past week. We started off with a informative program provided by the Roaring Fork Conservancy the first day. Once in camp, we played games, swam in the lake did various hikes, Hillary F. came up and did a mini chair building activity, rafted down the Roaring Fork River, and much more. 6th Grade Outdoor Ed Trip
We’re back to school this week after a challenging and fun outdoor ed trip! We hiked to a beautiful lake just below Midway Pass, carried snow fence down from Mountain Boy, spent a day rock climbing, and worked together to cook and camp as a group.
