Kindergarten 2021-22
Highlights: We had 2 strong days of reading, writing and math; and then we went cross country skiing in Snowmass! The Leprechaun did visit us one day early as we suspected – he was mischievous but ultimately did little damage. K traps almost caught him! K conferences were memorable, warm and wonderful. Our beloved art teacher also ran another successful Empty Bowls at Bumps on Wednesday night.

Nordic Day #3 Highlight Pix
Literacy: In Reading we started studying long vowel sounds. In Writing we learned about writing an Ending and a Tip or Warning for How-To books.
Math: We started a number line from 1-100!
Science/Writing/Art Integration: This week for Explorers’ Club we worked on finishing up pages. Soon we will glue our work into the blank books!
Wellness: Nordic skiing on Weds!
Homework: Please follow the directions for homework. It’s fun to have some at home computer work!
Gratitude: Thank you to parents and grandparents who joined us for our third Nordic Day at Snowmass Cross Country Center. Thank you to Todd Hartley, our bus driver, for taking us there and bringing us back to school. Thank you parents and Ks for coming into school for our student led conferences. What these guys have learned is incredible! Thank you to Ks who tried out for the musical knowing they won’t be in school on March 25 for formal tryouts.
